Busy Christmas Rush

Well, as some of you may already know, the Christmas Season has been really really busy for Tanya Ashley Photography. I've actually had to turn a few people who "wanted photos for Chrismas" away (sadly....I really hate doing that). I would, however, LOVE to start booking appointments for the New Year as that time of year, especially in Yellowknife because it's soooooooo cold, is the slowest time of year.

If you're interested in booking a session for 2008 and you book before Christmas, you will recieve a 15% discount on your total print order. Great stuff hey?

And now, I will post my favs from the session I did yesterday with a rather rambunctious 4 year old and his adorably sweet 10 month old brother. Mom and Dad (the kids', not mine!), I hope you like!

Porcelain...

...doll that is. Just look at her! This session was a breeze and was over almost as soon as it began, simply because she was just so adorably easy going and happy the entire time. Thanks to her mom for giving me the opportunity to take her picture!

Happiness

I really felt like these guys epitimized Happiness, it just oozed out of all of them! The boys were a joy to work with, super photogenic and completely enthralled with the whole "there's a lady in my house taking my picture" thing, which is so cool and we all just loved it!

A Personal Journey

Pregnancy has it's highs and lows. Some of us have to endure extreme pain to get to the wonderful place of motherhood but some of us are lucky enough to have one of those blessed pregnancies where every passing moment you come to love your body more, you are enthralled with the growing being inside of you and you actually get to enjoy the entire process. This client of mine, a gorgeous mother to be, felt such an elated sense this, that she chose to celebrate the magic of her beautiful growing body in pictures.

I hope you love these photos, and even from the short time I got to know you, I can see that you are going to be an amazing mother.
